Jenny Boyden, M.Ed.

Autism Spectrum Intervention Specialist

Jenny earned her Master's of Education in Special Education and an Autism Spectrum Intervention Specialist Certificate from Kent State University. She holds an Ohio Department of Education Teaching license for Special Education and Preschool Special Education and an Ohio Department of Disabilities Developmental Specialist Certification for birth to three. She pioneered use of the TEACCH Model with toddlers in Early Intervention in Portage County. She is a certified PLAY Project and Teaching PLAY consultant and has provided relationship-based intervention to families and classrooms in Northeast Ohio. Jenny is a PLAY Project supervisor and provides feedback and guidance to PLAY Project consultant trainees worldwide.  She has had the opportunity to work with children and families in Early Intervention for over 25 years and has worked as a Developmental Specialist at Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities providing birth to 3 early intervention services to families since 1999.  Jenny is a Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol  Certified Provider

Molly Schenker, M.A., CCC-SLP 

Molly is a speech-language pathologist. She holds a Certificate of Clinincal Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech and Hearing Professionals, and holds a Pupil Services License from the Ohio Department of Education. She earned her Master's degree from Kent State University in 2011 and is completing her Ph.D. at Kent State. She is a certified PLAY Project and Teaching PLAY consultant. Her experience as a speech pathologist includes early intervention, Head Start, private practice, and school-based services. In addition to her clinical work, Molly works as a writer for The Informed SLP, reviewing research to get up-to-date evidence into the hands of practicing SLPs. She volunteers as a site visitor for the Council on Academic Accreditation, reviewing graduate speech pathology programs. Molly occasionally teaches courses at Kent State University. Past courses include: Language Development, Autism Theory & Diagnosis, Advanced Speech and Voice Science, and Assessment and Intervention in Early Childhood.
